Launched in 2020, BeReal is an app centered on the exchange of photos between loved ones emphasizing the authenticity of sharing.

BeReal Voodoo

BeReal was a great success in the United States during the Covid-19 pandemic. The network has 40 million active users, half of whom use it 6 days a week. France and Japan are its other key markets. 4.6 million French people log on every month.

Voodoo specializes in "hyper casual" games (very fast, easy-to-understand games). The publisher boasts 7 billion downloads worldwide and over 150 million active users. It describes itself as "the world's third-largest publisher, behind Google and Meta".

BeReal is now at a turning point in its growth. Leveraging Voodoo's platform and expertise, it now has the opportunity to continue innovating around new functionalities, and to boost its growth through organic and paid marketing in all its markets.

ACL's teams supported BeReal in this transaction with their expertise in expertise in accounting, consolidation and transition to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), financial management, financial operations and non-dilutive financing.
