9M for Uptale: immersive training reaches new heights

News, Customers

Uptale, a French pioneer in immersive virtual reality (VR) training, has just completed a €9 million round of financing. This financing, one of the largest in the field of XR learning in Europe, was secured with the support of We Positive Invest 2, Arkéa Capital's impact fund, Go Capital and several renowned business angels.

Founded in 2017 by David Ristagno, Sébastien Leang, Aurélie Truchet and Dwayne Iserief, Uptale has established itself as the leader in immersive training in France. Its intuitive platform, accessible without coding, enables companies to design and distribute virtual and augmented reality experiences to train their employees.

Despite the lack of external financing to date, Uptale already supports over 300 customers worldwide, including Stellantis, Alstom, Michelin and Airbus. With a team of 50 enthusiasts, the company already generates 30% of its sales outside France, notably in North America and Asia-Pacific.

The capital raised will be used to intensify collaborative efforts with other leading technology companies, leveraging strategic partnerships to develop more robust solutions to the complex challenges of modern software development.

This significant round of financing paves the way for us to achieve our ambition of becoming a world leader in immersive and experiential training.

With this new dynamic, Uptale has established itself as a key player in the XR ecosystem, working with major technology partners such as Meta, Lenovo and Accenture.

The ACL teams supported Uptale in this operation through their accounting and consultingservices.
